As of this post, I am closing the weblog of VomitGod. Fear not, my scribblings will continue on in slightly less putrid anonimity in a totally mirrored blog (to-date), “slowly growing deaf“. This will be a more appropriate place for me to disseminate and/or otherwise catalog lyrics and such as regards the “collateral” of one Levi Peckham.

Rest assured, VomitGod will most certainly return as I attempt to finish the debut album thereof sometime in the next year, etcetera. Fair warning: I will likely leave this blog “served” for some time, but eventually it will be evaporated with extreme prejudice in favor of the new blog/location.

Are you daunted by overwhelming feelings of being alone in the universe? Do you subject yourself daily to various situations that have bathed liberally in inconsequentiality? Is your inane, sedentary lifestyle taking it’s toll physically/mentally? Are you somewhat excited by the otherwise morose thought of how beautiful it will be when your life ends, and you take your final breath?

Yes.

Yesterday T and I nearly finished cabling/assembling our new project studio. Now it’s time for numerous rehearsals, bouts of head-scratching engineering, significant tome reference, and learning how to use Pro Tools.

I’m tired, but psyched that the non-musical part of this project is over. Although it still doesn’t seem real, I’m looking forward to essentially living in this space for the next X years. I know it has yet to bear fruit, but I can say with relative finality that all the effort, time and money has and will have been worth it. New music…soon!
